Over the years, we’ve invested in developing signature Bear Built systems that allow us to be adaptable, scalable, and highly customizable. These systems allow our team to fabricate quickly without sacrificing design integrity.

With Bear Built items, we tailor these structures with custom paint, graphics, attachments, and refined detailing. This helps us deliver custom-feeling solutions with shorter turnaround times and exceptional value.

Absolutely. Many of our strongest projects integrate fabrication with rentals, florals, draping, lighting, and graphics for a fully cohesive environment.

Fabrication falls into two categories here at Bear: Fully Custom Builds from the ground-up and Bear Built™ customization using many of our signature structures and systems.

Bear Built Customizations
Over the years we’ve made intentional investments in developing proprietary systems that allow us to work smarter and more efficiently with our creative. These systems are engineered in-house and designed to be adapted, refinished, skinned, painted, or reconfigured to become fully bespoke for each event.

This dual approach allows us to deliver:

Full Custom Builds
We regularly design and construct fully custom environments from the ground up, including uparchitectural installations, sculptural pieces, immersive activations, and large-scale structural builds.

That said, we are thoughtful about what we build from the ground up. We don’t fabricate simply for novelty, we fabricate with purpose. Every custom build is evaluated for our market, unique “Bearness”, and ability to provide long-term value to our clients and partners.

Fabrication projects typically begin as part of a broader design conversation.

During your consultation, we’ll determine whether your vision calls for a fully custom build, an adaptation of one of our Bear Built Systems, or a hybrid of both. Many of our strongest partnerships evolve this way—collaborating on investments that serve not just one event, but recurring needs across venues, brands, or annual programs.

From there, we manage fabrication in-house to ensure quality control, efficiency, and seamless integration onsite.

Lead times depend on complexity, but for custom builds we recommend starting the conversation at least 12 weeks before your event to allow for design development, engineering, and production.

Yes. Our fabrication projects are always installed and struck by our production team to ensure safety, precision, and quality control.
